My name is Effie Blani, I have studied Criminology in the University of Indianapolis, and I am a professional Life Coach since 2015.

Life Coaching is an internal process which gifts the individual with a connection to its real: 1) self, 2) personal values and 3) dreams.

We tend to function in autopilot and rarely question the followed processes to achieve coveted situations such as happiness, success e.t.c. Though we feel uncomfortable, we suppress our feelings but deep down we know that something should change.

But how can we break the vicious cycle and change our lives?

The International Coaching Federation (ICF) defines Coaching as:‘partnering with clients in a thought – provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential.’

Coaching helps us get to know our potential (Hooray!) but most importantly how we can transform and utilize our shady parts. Our dark selves are a part of us, whether we like it or not. But it is also a valuable source of self-knowledge.

Please bear in mind that I am not another Life Coach.

While it is a trend in the coaching world to smile no matter what (toxic positivity), I am mostly into embracing our full range of emotions (yes including the so-called negative ones!) because guess what, we are humans after all! How can we possibly have a wholesome experience with just one emotion?

So, no I am not going to ask you to smile 24/7. What I will ask you is to be honest with yourself and open to change. That is a great start!

If your goal is to set yourself free of limiting beliefs and social demands as dictated by the corporate culture let me know!
